Fashions on the Field 2026 – theme ‘Racing to the Reef’

Are you ready for the 2026 Fashions on the Field? This year’s Theme is Racing to the Reef, and registrations are taken on the day at the Fashions marquee at the front entrance to the clubhouse.

Make sure you read our Fashions on the Field Guide for some tips and rules to help you look your best and catch the judges’ eyes on race day. Judging times will be updated closer to race day, so make sure you check back!

Categories are:

  • Little Ones – 0-5yo
  • Little Miss and Little Mister – 6-12yo
  • Young Lady and Young Sir of the Day – 13-17yo
  • Lady of the Day – 18-39yo
  • Golden Lady of the Day – 40-plus
  • Local Lady of the Day – 18-plus
  • Local Man of the Day – 18-plus
  • Dapper Man of the Day – 18-plus
  • Couple of the Day – 18-plus
  • Best Reef Group – all ages
  • Best Millinery – all ages

Fashionista Kids: 3-12 years 12.30pm, before Race 1
Young Teen Ladies and Gents: 13-19 years 1.15pm, after Race 1
Chic Ladies: 20-49 years 2pm, after Race 2
Lady of the Day: 50 years and over 2.45pm, after Race 3
Local Lady of the Day: 18 and over 2.45pm, after Race 3
Local Gent of the Day: 18 and over 2.45pm, after Race 3
Best Suited: 18 and over 2.45pm, after Race 3
Magic Millinery: all ages 3.40pm, after Race 4
Most Stylish Duo: 18 and over 3.40pm, after Race 4
Clan Chaos: best/funniest dressed group or family 4.20pm, after Race 5
